The Book Experience Book Club

Gaming Groups

Gaming in the Library

Every second Saturday of the month join us for a day of tabletop gaming and roleplaying games at the Decatur Public Library. Featuring a growing variety of games. Writers Group

The Decatur Public Library Writers' Group
The Decatur Public Library Writers' Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 6 pm! The Writers' Group provides a creative atmosphere to share and perfect your writing craft. The group discusses and critiques original works, and is intended for adults, anyone 18 years old and over. Contact Denice at if you have any questions.

Same Page Book Festival

Our first book festival, Same Page Book Festival, was so much fun! We hope everyone that attended enjoyed it as much as we did. 

The Decatur Public Library would like to thank all of the authors that came to the book festival for presenting and participating, the Epsilon Sigma Omicron Book Club which is a part of the Decatur Woman's Club for providing the wonderful refreshments, Hand in the Cookie Jar located in Bridgeport, TX for making the beautiful sugar cookies and cookie bags for our authors, and to all of the volunteers and staff that dedicated their time to this event! We could not have done it without you!
